The Egyptian Museum of Turin is the oldest museum in the world entirely dedicated to Egyptian culture. The original core consists of the precious collections of the House of Savoy, which were gradually enriched by the archaeological discoveries of Ernesto Schiapparelli and Giulio Farina, eventually including the ancient temple of Ellesiya saved from the waters of the Aswan Dam.
The new layout of 2015 has created an extremely captivating museum itinerary, full of surprises and that mysterious charm that has always shrouded ancient Egypt.
